Charlie and Taryn’s engagement session was a true reflection of the timeless elegance that will go perfectly hand-in-hand on their wedding day this year. Set in the heart of Portland’s historic downtown, the shoot beautifully combined the charm of the city’s architecture with the couple’s natural chemistry. With stunning, iconic buildings as a backdrop, we were able to capture the essence of their love—romantic, sophisticated, and filled with excitement for their future together. It felt as if we were transported from Portland to New York City!
As we moved through the city streets, each moment felt like it belonged in a timeless love story. Whether they were sharing a quiet moment on a park bench or walking hand-in-hand against the backdrop of Portland’s historic structures, every frame was filled with genuine emotion and joy. The city’s chic, urban vibe added depth to the shoot, making it the perfect setting to highlight not only their connection but also the beginning of their next chapter. This engagement session was a beautiful celebration of their love, capturing the anticipation and excitement leading up to their wedding day coming this summer.
We decided to get married in Cancun and there was no one else we would have wanted to come and take pictures of our big day and party with us. We had the best week ever and having the best photographer is just the cherry on top. We love Mel and are so grateful for her. I've looked through our gallery several times already and I could cry. I love our photos and I felt like I was right back in Mexico with my best friends marrying the man of my dreams.
